We are thrilled to announce the successful signing of non-recourse project refinancing agreements totaling EUR 203 million for two of our operating solar plants in Spain: Talayuela and La Cabrera.

☀️ The Talayuela Plant is located in Extremadura, this solar facility boasts an impressive 300 MW generation capacity.

☀️ The La Cabrera Plant is situated in Andalusia, this solar park contributes 200 MW to our clean energy portfolio.

Both projects have been operational since the end of 2020/beginning of 2021 and represent a pioneering achievement as European utility scale solar parks realized and operated without public subsidies. The majority of electricity production from these solar parks is secured through long-term PPAs, ensuring stability for an initial term of ten years.

We are thrilled to announce the start of construction of Germany's second largest solar park by our colleagues from Encavis Asset Management AG for the Encavis Infrastructure Fund IV (EIF IV)! ☀️

With a total capacity of 260 MW and spanning 205 hectares in Bartow, this project is a true flagship within the portfolio. The solar park is set to generate green electricity for approximately 96,000 households and avoid 100,100 tons of CO2 emissions per year.

🌟 Acquisition of solar parks in Spain: We have recently acquired two additional solar parks in Andalucia, Spain. The Lirios solar park, with impressive 109 megawatts (MW) and an annual production of 220 gigawatt hours (GWh), is already under construction and will be connected to the grid by Q4/2025. Meanwhile, the La Florida Hive solar park, with a capacity of 30 MW and an annual output of 60 GWh, will be built southeast of Seville in Dos Hermanas, set to join the grid in the second half of 2025.

🚀 Surpassing Expansion Goals: In a remarkable achievement, we have exceeded our planned expansion target for electricity production in 2023 by more than 33 percent! Encavis now reaches a total of 1 terawatt hour of electricity generated annually.

We have signed a power purchase agreement (#PPA) with Aliaxis that is set to cover a large part of of Aliaxis' electricity consumption in Europe.
 
Aliaxis is a global leader in advanced fluid management solutions that enable access to water and energy. With more than 15,000 employees the Company provides communities around the world with sustainable innovative solutions like e.g. pipe and fittings systems which meet the demanding needs for the building, infrastructure, industrial and agriculture sectors.

We are very pleased to support Aliaxis in its #sustainability strategy with our green electricity on a long-term basis.  
 
After having successfully signed several PPAs in Spain, Germany, Finland and Denmark, we can now add our first Italian PPA to the list!
