Alex Miles, Director of Project Development at Enerkem will be speaking at the Marine Energy Transition Forum taking place in Antwerp 22-23 October 2024.

Alex will speak in session two - The Right Stuff, which will include class societies, vessel architects, fuel suppliers and owners who will discuss issues such as vessel design, projected demand for the #alternative #fuels, as well as the outlook for fuel supply and #bunkering infrastructure on a global basis as they relate to vessel segments. The discussion will look at tramp, short sea and inland shipping, as well as deep sea trades.

Michel succède à Dominique Boies qui, au cours des 7 dernières années, a su conduire Enerkem à travers des étapes cruciales de son développement.

Congratulations to Michel Chornet on his appointment as CEO of Enerkem. 

Michel has been with Enerkem for over 17 years, most recently as Executive Vice President, Technology and Global Commercialization. This appointment is a natural extension for the company founded in 2000 by his father Esteban Chornet and his late brother Vincent Chornet.   

Michel succeeds Dominique Boies who, over the past 7 years, has led Enerkem through crucial stages of its development. 

A huge thank you, Dominique, for your leadership and commitment, which will remain engraved in Enerkem's history.

It was a pleasure to be at this event, which marks an important milestone in the progress of Recyclage Carbone Varennes (RCV) and the commercial deployment of Enerkem's technology.

Converting waste into dimethyl ether (DME): a sustainable solution for decarbonizing off-grid energy systems, made possible by Enerkem's technology in partnership with Dimeta. This conversion process was developed by the team at our Westbury research and innovation center.
