🏆 Awards for outstanding scientific work in #plasticsengineering On 24 October 2024, the 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 2024 was awarded by the Scientific Working Group of University Professors of Plastics Technology (WAK). With this prize, Ensinger GmbH honours annually outstanding master’s theses and dissertations in the field of the development and description of engineering plastics for innovative applications. Klaus Ensinger presented the Wilfried Ensinger Prize to this year's winners ◽ Christina D. ohmen M.Sc . for her Master's thesis on the topic: ‘Transversalisotropic, thermoviscoelastic modelling and characterisation of a closed-cell polymer structural foam’ and ◽ Silvia Lajewski for her dissertation on the topic: ‘Material development in a twin-screw extruder for the mechanical recycling of the bioplastic polyhydroxybutyrate’.
