Global emissions are expected to increase 50% by 2030 if nothing changes. Here’s what to do about it. 

👉 Wear what you have.
Outfit repeating is NOT a crime—even if you posted it on Instagram. 
When you have an event coming up, pull something from your closet instead of buying new.

👉 Take care of your clothes.
When you stop thinking of your clothes as disposable, you start paying better attention to how you treat them.
If you have something in your wardrobe that gets damaged, try having the item mended instead of shipping it off to the landfill. 
We’re not saying you need to learn to darn a sock—although you totally could. 

👉 Check out clothing swaps.
Clothing swaps are usually free and feature a variety of styles and sizes—they’re also a great way to build deeper connections with your community. 
If you’re feeling shy, just set up clothing swaps with the friends you already have. You can all take home pieces that are new to you without spending any money. 

👉  Shop resale. 
If you HAVE to buy something, shop resale. You can find all your favorite brands on the resale market—even luxury bags. 
When you shop resale instead of new, brands tend to get stuck with overproduced stock. That stock comes to the market through sales are overstock sellers. 
Ultimately, the brands decide to produce less in order to lose less revenue.

It can’t be done by just one person, but if we all make smarter choices for the environment, we will see those changes make an impact.
