It's been a good week since this year's Female Insurance Summit took place at ERGO. We would like to thank everyone involved for your great support and commitment. As #TeamERGO, we have received a lot of positive feedback and think that the event was a great success!

When asked about her growth drivers, Evelin Roasto, Head of Human Resources and Office Administration at ERGO Baltics, replies: ‘I can only grow with a team. Together as a team, we can share ideas, our best practices, also our failures to learn from them. We can support each other. We can inspire each other to grow ourselves as well as grow together as a team.’ 🙌

Evelin studied economics where her likes for numbers only grew, but her passion for people is certainly more profound. Her role in ERGO Baltics is based on understanding different people, cultures and finding the best balance for the Baltic and local communities. Evelin is also driven by constant development, new challenges, and successes, but it’s the people around her that are most important.

Her proudest achievement in her career is fostering a professional, trustworthy, and creative team at ERGO Baltics, which is reflected in the remarkable 90%+ employee engagement rate.

Beyond the confines of ERGO’s offices, she enjoys experiencing music, theatre, art, and sports, often wishing for more than 24 hours in a day. As a certified nutritionist, she advocates for a healthy and active lifestyle. Depending on the season, she is fond of biking and skiing – as for summertime, she cannot wait to continue with surf lessons. 🏄‍♂️

The presentations were as diverse as the participants, covering female empowerment, the benefits of diversity for employers and employees, self-management as a superpower, longevity and lessons for future leaders.

70 top talents – or Pioneers – from all over the world will meet around 30 executives and board members of the ERGO Group in Düsseldorf at the beginning of July. The aim: to discuss forward-looking ideas from the insurance industry that will have a significant impact on the way insurance companies work and are managed in the future. 🚀 

As the European Football Championship ⚽ is taking place at the same time the motto of this year's ERGO Pioneer Days is: “Play to win!” 

“We are inspired by the atmosphere and team spirit of football,” says ERGO Labour Director Dr. Lena Lindemann. “We are convinced that new, forward-looking ideas can only be realised with courage and passion.”
