The Future Award is entering round 3 of 3. The beers have been tasted and the best 8 applicants have been selected by the EBS jury. The breweries now have until the end of the week to prepare a presentation on the main topic of “Reducing primary energy consumption in the brewery”. These will be evaluated and the winners will be notified soon. The winners will be honored at the award ceremony at BrauBeviale. After all, sustainability is an enormously important topic and the participation of the breweries proves that they are also committed to it. We are excited!

Long live the judges! For us as the EBS team, it's always great to see that our photo wall is not only great fun during the tasting breaks, but also serves as a networking platform for beer lovers from all over the world. Cheers to that! 🍻

No tasting without an expert jury! This year, more than 140 tasters from 32 countries will travel to Nuremberg to taste the 2360 beers submitted to the European Beer Star 2024. The EBS team is looking forward to each and every one of them. Thank you for being there! The picture shows the judges from last year - this year we will certainly take a group photo again! 🍻

Preparations for the European Beer Star 2024 expert tasting next week are in full swing! It takes real manpower, organizational talent and precision to make everything work. Our team is already doing this, we have every confidence in them 🍻

Soon the expert tasting of the European Beer Star 2024 will take place in Nuremberg. That's why we asked von Alex Büch , brew master at Müllerbräu GmbH & Co. KG in Pfaffenhofen, what he thinks the European Beer Star is all about: "For me, the European Beer Star is the best competition for tasting and judging the variety of beers submitted.
