It’s two years since we became the first company in the world to appoint Nature to our board of directors – and the movement is growing from strength to strength. In the last year… 🐋 We launched the first ever products voted on by Nature, including our new, 100% recycled and infinitely recyclable aluminium bottles. 🌱 The number of organisations who’ve appointed Nature to their board grew: House of Hackney , The Better Business Network , Better Not Stop, FutureEverything , Intra Drive Ltd , Usk Catchment Partnership and Focccaz all have Nature on their boards – and there are more to come! 🎞️ Our Nature On the Board story was featured in Damon Gameau’s brilliant film, Future Council. The National Infrastructure Commission for Wales recommended the Nature On the Board model to Welsh Government. 🐙 Sea Change Project's film, ‘Mother Nature in the Boardroom’, ft. On Monday we travelled to the Holland & Barrett conference which welcomed over 1000 delegates. A jam packed, fun filled day was had - with hundreds of soap bars handed out! We recently had the pleasure of attending B Lab UK 's Louder Than Words festival – the biggest gathering of B Corps in the world! Our Sustainability Director Laura Ford joined Daze Aghaji FRSA, Frieda Gormley , Paul Powlesland and Daan van Apeldoorn on House of Hackney ’s Nature Right panel discussion. Sharing practical examples from our own experiences, we encouraged attendees to ask ‘Hey, what would Nature say?’ and to consider bringing a representative of Nature into the business decision making process.
