Fastned is a Dutch company that owns and operates a network of over 1,500 EV charging stations in the Netherlands, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Switzerland. The company primarily focuses on providing fast charging services for electric vehicles, with a large majority of its stations located at Dutch highway rest areas.

Today, I met with EU Commissioner Vălean, together with the CEO's of 18 companies that are driving innovation and paving the way for the electrification and digitization of transport in Europe. This meeting was the first of the Future Mobility Taskforce and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to share our views on shaping Europe's future transport sector and accelerating electrification. As a member of this task force, Fastned is committed to its mission to accelerate the transition to electric mobility. Our contribution is building charging infrastructure that allows people to make the switch to owning an electric vehicle.
