Olson succeeds William  S. Austin, CLU, who will continue to serve on the board of directors as executive vice chairman and provide executive advisory services to Federal Life.

In response to the CNN health article, "The cost of senior care is rising while caregivers are ‘drowning’ without help", by Amanda Musa, we wanted to shed some light on an innovative new product that can help relieve the challenges middle-income baby-boomers may face. 

The Federal Life Insurance Company, Hannover Re and #VidaleMarketingGroup, a U.K. financial services marketing company, collaborated to bring to the U.S. a product that responds to the public’s need to be informed of later life care choices and helps reduce the expense. The #MyImmediateCarePlan is a medically underwritten single premium immediate annuity that guarantees a monthly income for as long as the annuitant lives. It is available for those aged 70 to 95 on a single life basis and designed for those who are either about to receive care or those already receiving care, either in a Care community or at home.
