🎨 The 28th edition of the Fertiberia Rural Children's Painting Contest is now open! This year we continue to nurture the #creativity of the youngest minds, showing and highlighting the value of the rural environment and its importance. At Fertiberia we are passionate about supporting the local communities in which we operate. On this occasion, we have reached an agreement with the #Puertollano City Council and its Mayor, Miguel Ángel Ruiz, to restore the natural grass at the Ciudad de Puertollano Stadium, which has suffered considerable damage due to the high temperatures recorded last summer, a circumstance that has been repeated every year since it was built. The aim of this collaboration is to ensure that the playing field is once again in optimal conditions for the practice of sports and the enjoyment of the fans. After studying the natural grass base, we have designed a work schedule aimed at the complete recovery of the field. Among the planned measures, a new #reseeding will be carried out using ryegrass seed with substrate, which will facilitate a rapid #regeneration . At the same time, we have designed a fertilization plan based on: ➡ Our #ImpactZero line, our low-carbon crop nutrition solutions produced with #greenhydrogen . ➡Our #biotech references from the Fertiberia #BIOSCIENCE range, designed to optimize and complement fertilization. ➡Our high-tech solutions #Profertil and #Tecnifol , to promote rooting and resistance to the different abiotic stresses. ➡Our microbiological solutions such as N-Fixer and #Neoforce Recover, which will ensure optimal nutrition through #biofertilization . We are more than honored to have received in our Asturias facilities the Spanish Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu , and the President of the Principality of Asturias, Adrián Barbón Rodríguez , who were able to learn from our CEO, Javier Goñi, about the key #decarbonization and #renovation project we are planning thanks to the construction of two new state-of-the-art plants and the #modernization of the rest of the assets, creating a fertilizer production center with the latest technology, more efficient and fully decarbonized, avoiding the #emission of more than 26,000 tons of CO2 per year. During the visit, all highlighted the importance of this project, not only for our plant but for the future of a sustainable industry in Asturias. This plant has been strategic since its foundation, more than fifty years ago, and with the investment we want to materialize we would not only guarantee the #future of all the jobs we generate, but we would also boost an important tractor effect, during the construction and execution phases, for the Asturian auxiliary companies. This ambitious project, supported by the #PERTE for Industrial Decarbonization, will enhance our role as pioneers in the transition towards a greener and more sustainable industry.
