We are a Wisconsin family- and employee-owned grocer that is committed to giving back to the communities it serves and providing guests with exceptional service and value. We operate +40 full-service supermarkets across the state of Wisconsin.

Adam Whitney, our SVP of Merchandising and Marketing, joined the Festival Foods team in December 2023. Adam leads our Business Analytics, Space Planning, Center Store Buying and Merchandising, and Marketing teams.

Whitney brought to Festival 25 years of retail experience for Fortune 100 organizations, and leadership experience spanning the grocery, general merchandise, convenience and online channels. 

We asked Adam to share more about his story, why he chose Festival Foods, and his leadership style.

We care about our guests and our community. Each year Festival Foods hosts its annual Grocers on the Green event in an effort to bring its vendors and associates together to make a big impact. The day is dedicated to teeing off against hunger, with all funds raised benefitting the Food for Neighbors program. Food for Neighbors provides crucial food products and other supplies to more than 55 local food pantries across Wisconsin in an effort to combat food scarcity.

Missy Hazen, Pricing Coordinator at our Eau Claire Mall location, has served as a 4-H Leader for over two decades! 

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐲: "I’ve been the 4-H general leader for 22 years.  I started volunteering when my kids were little. They wanted to do activities and I wanted to see them do stuff they liked. When they wanted to play soccer and there was no soccer coach, it was either step up and help coach or tell my kids they couldn’t play. When my son joined 4-H and the leader was stepping down, they needed a new leader so the club wouldn’t fold, so I said yes. My youngest graduated 8 years ago and I stayed in 4-H because I love working with kids. I love to watch them grow and learn new things. They become more confident and grow their leadership roles. I’ve seen kids so quiet and shy when they join 4-H and become the lead of our drama a few years later."

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 4-𝐇: 4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. 4‑H is delivered Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. In 4‑H programs, kids and teens complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and civic engagement in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.
