Pada 12 Oktober 2024, DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail berkenan menerima zakat perniagaan daripada FGV Holdings Berhad dalam satu majlis di Kuala Lumpur. Baginda, selaku Yang Dipertua Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis (MAIPs), menerima zakat berjumlah RM201,267 yang diserahkan oleh Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa, Pengerusi FGV Holdings Berhad. Dalam majlis yang sama, FGV dan MAIPs menandatangani surat niat kerjasama untuk menyediakan peluang pekerjaan kepada golongan asnaf. Kerjasama ini melibatkan Akademi Transformasi Asnaf MAIPs (ATAM) dan FGV Integrated Farming (FGVIF), yang akan membuka peluang pekerjaan melalui Program FGV Agro Rangers di FGV Agro Food-Valley, Chuping. FGV Agro Rangers merupakan program pertanian kontrak inovatif yang dibangunkan oleh FGVIF, anak syarikat FGV, sebagai sebahagian daripada usaha menyokong agenda Keterjaminan Makanan Negara. Program ini juga bertujuan memastikan produk tani tempatan tersedia di pasaran domestik dan antarabangsa. Over 200 enthusiastic FGV employees recently came together for the #FGVPinkRun , organised by FGV Sports Club (KSFGV) Kuala Lumpur Zone in conjunction with the #PinkOctober celebration at FGV. The 5km run was a powerful display of unity, with participants proudly wearing pink to show their support for breast cancer fighters and survivors, while raising awareness for the cause. After crossing the finish line, the fun continued with an exciting Zumba session that got everyone moving and energised. This was followed by a lively lucky draw, where participants had the chance to win some fantastic prizes, making the day even more memorable. This event was more than just about fitness – it was a meaningful symbol of FGV’s ongoing commitment to raising breast cancer awareness. By supporting causes like this, we’re not only encouraging early detection and care but also demonstrating the strength of community and the importance of standing together. The prestigious event was attended by Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa, Chairman of FGV, Datuk Mohamad Helmy Othman Basha, Chairman of MPOB, along with FGV Board Members, senior management, FJB shareholders, government agencies and business partners as well as esteemed clients from both local and international markets. During the gala, the Customers and Stakeholders Appreciation Award was presented to key customers and stakeholder representatives, while an Appreciation Award were given to seven shareholders, recognising their significant contributions.
