This product, launched in Vietnam last year, is the country’s first Weather Index Insurance – a blockchain-based parametric Index Insurance product that automates insurance claims and reduces the vulnerability of rice farmers to adverse weather conditions.

Henry Mixson, Country Manager, Igloo Indonesia spoke to DailySocial.id - Indonesian Startup Media & Research recently about the redesign of Ignite, and how this digital platform is able to address customers' concerns while at the same time providing much-needed tools for our agents to boost their productivity so that they are able to spend more time selling. 

By leveraging the understanding of the market and current technology, the Ignite app aligns its goal of digitalising agent operations with over 10 insurers in Indonesia, including Sinarmas Insurance, Tugu Insurance, and Takaful Insurance. By the end of 2023, Igloo has set its sights on launching Ignite in multiple markets, with a goal of facilitating sales for 50,000 agents and a Gross Written Premium (GWP) of 50 times of 2022.
