It started in 2003 in a flat above a surf shop with an innovative fleece that was designed to keep out chill winds and warm up cold bodies. Since these early days, driven by those who have jumped on board, supported by our customers and suppliers, the brand and product has widened beyond these original beginnings.

Earlier this year we launched our second Women's Filmmaker Competition in collaboration with London Surf Film Festival . And last night, this years winning film had its premiere. Here's some behind-the-scenes of the filmmaking process ⬇️ "SALT" by Alice Ward is an intimate and artistic exploration of the role that sodium chloride has played throughout the filmmakers life. From her mother noticing that her skin was unusually salty at birth which lead to a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis, to becoming Irelands first water photographer to capture surfing from a female perspective. Finisterre asked some of the team to model their Yarrel Trousers and i was like 'yes mam see you there' I have stress memories of pulling on jeans in Topshop changing rooms, wondering how it can be SO hard to make a pair of jeans that fits both my waist and my thighs.
