This Monday's florrent Team Day was a special one, with it falling on our 2nd anniversary at Greentown Labs. We couldn't have asked for a better way to commemorate the day than by spending it with the entire florrent team plus having our amazing People Consultant, Nupur Amin, in town! 

We joined Greentown as a team of 3 founders in 2022 and are grateful to have been able to celebrate our second anniversary as a team of 10 (and counting). The Greentown community is truly inspiring, and something we're energized by every day. Meet Naomi Morgridge, our Winter/Spring Marketing and Operations Intern! 

Naomi graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst this past fall with an MS in Business Analytics. Passionate about solving business problems, creating growth, and uncovering the "why," she previously co-founded a shoe business. With her startup and Fortune 100 partner experience in operations, product management, and sales, Naomi has all the skills to be a key contributor at florrent, and we're excited to have her join the team! In her free time, Naomi loves to read, write poetry (currently writing her own book), cook, and travel. One of her goals for 2024 is to learn Yoruba, a Nigerian native language.

Last week, we had our first annual holiday team day filled with gingerbread house-building, white elephant gift-giving/taking, ice skating, and belated birthday celebrations 🎁⛸️. As the year comes to an end, we're feeling incredibly fortunate for the team that we've brought together over the course of 2023, and all the impacts that each member has already had on florrent. We can't wait to see how this team will continue to grow in 2024, and we look forward to sharing more about our plans for next year in our December Ecosystem Newsletter (you can sign up below to receive it if you're not already subscribed).
