Triennale Milano is dedicating a comprehensive retrospective to Gae Aulenti, one of the most representative figures in contemporary architecture and design, and FontanaArte's artistic director from 1979 to 1996. In over sixty years of career, the versatile designer has touched various fields: from urban-scale design to exhibition design, from landscape architecture to interior design, from furniture design to graphics, and even theatrical scenography. The exhibition presents a unique perspective, a personal way of seeing, imagining, and designing reality that has influenced both Italian and international contexts in the second half of the twentieth century.
