Speaking with FSR Magazine, SPB Hospitality CEO Josh Kern shared that he hopes to apply Garces' culinary and creative expertise across the company's portfolio of brands: "Amada is a restaurant concept that has the potential to grow exponentially, and I'm thrilled to welcome the Amada and Village Whiskey brands, as well as Chef Garces and the Ideation Hospitality team, to our growing portfolio."
 
The acquisition adds to SPB Hospitality’s portfolio of more than 500 fast-casual and high-end restaurants in 37 states. Since its incorporation in 2020, SPB Hospitality has successfully helped revive beloved brands like Logan's Roadhouse, Krystal Restaurants LLC, and J. Alexander's Restaurants.

Fortress co-CEOs Drew McKnight and Joshua Pack wrote an op-ed for the The Dallas Morning News to give insight into why Fortress is a founding investor in TXSE Group Inc, the parent company of the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE).
