🌍Erfahrungsbericht: Justins Auslandsaufenthalt in Wales🌍 Unser Auszubildender Justin, 21 Jahre alt und in der Ausbildung zum Kaufmann für Digitalisierungsmanagement, hatte kürzlich die großartige Gelegenheit, einen dreiwöchigen Auslandsaufenthalt an einem unserer anderen Standorte bei The Abergavenny Fine Foods Company in Blaenavon, Wales, zu absolvieren. Diese Erfahrung war für Justin sowohl beruflich als auch persönlich äußerst wertvoll. 🏠 Standort und Unterkunft: Justin wohnte in einem von der Firma organisierten Airbnb und übernahm eigenverantwortlich Aufgaben wie Einkaufen und Kochen. Die Kosten für Unterkunft, Auto und Verpflegung wurden von der Firma übernommen. 💼 Berufliche Erfahrungen: In Wales unterstützte Justin die IT-Abteilung. Vor allem ging es dabei um SAP, den Support beim Roll-out sowie die Unterstützung seiner Arbeitskollegen. SAP ist eine Software, die Unternehmen bei der effizienten Organisation und Steuerung von Geschäftsprozessen wie Finanzen, Personal und Lagerhaltung unterstützt. Die Aufgaben dort ermöglichten ihm wertvolle Einblicke in die Wirtschaftssysteme und erweiterten seine SAP-Kenntnisse erheblich. 🏢 Unterschiede zwischen den Standorten: Ein wesentlicher Unterschied zu unserem Standort hier in Rietberg ist das große, offene Büro, in dem alle Mitarbeiter zusammenarbeiten. Während wir hier separate Büros für jede Abteilung haben, gibt es an beiden Standorten eine gemeinsame Küche, die allen Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung steht. 📚 Wichtige Lerninhalte: Justin verbesserte nicht nur seine Englischkenntnisse, sondern baute auch seine SAP-Fähigkeiten aus und stärkte seine Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten im interkulturellen Austausch. 🌐 Beweggründe: Der Aufenthalt hatte das Ziel, Justins Sprachkenntnisse zu verbessern und ihm die Gelegenheit zu geben, neue Länder und Kulturen kennenzulernen. Diese internationalen Erfahrungen sollen dazu beitragen, seine berufliche und persönliche Entwicklung zu fördern und ihn auf zukünftige internationale Projekte optimal vorzubereiten. 🚗 Herausforderungen und Freizeit: Eine der größten Herausforderungen für Justin war das Linksfahren. Er bekam vor Ort einen Firmenwagen gestellt. In seiner Freizeit nutzte er die Gelegenheit, die Umgebung zu erkunden: Von gemeinsamen Abendessen mit Kollegen über Besuche im Fitnessstudio bis hin zu spannenden Mountainbike-Touren. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Besuch einer Kohlemine, der als Teamevent organisiert wurde. ✈️ Empfehlungen: Justin ermutigt jeden, der die Chance hat, einen Auslandsaufenthalt zu machen: „Es ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, die Sprachkenntnisse zu verbessern, in einem neuen kulturellen Umfeld zu arbeiten und wertvolle berufliche Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Die Unterstützung durch das Unternehmen war hervorragend – man muss sich nur trauen und die Chance nutzen!“
