Have you heard about the HBCU Pathways Program? We’ve teamed up with our partners at the Atlanta Hawks to empower the next generation of Black leaders right here in Atlanta. Last year, we helped welcome six interns to spend the summer with the Atlanta Hawks. This program aims to nurture diverse talent in sports, entertainment, and hospitality industries, providing a platform for growth and exploration.

Throughout a dynamic nine-week internship, our interns delved into various career paths within sports while participating in educational and professional development seminars. We're proud to offer opportunities for hands-on learning and support the Atlanta Hawk’s goal of helping these students pave the way for future success.

Exciting news from #PlantVogtle! 🎉 We are proud to share that Unit 4 has achieved initial criticality! This means that our skilled team of operators has safely started the nuclear reaction inside the second reactor. 

Building on the long-standing record of safe and dependable operations at Vogtle Units 1 and 2, and the commercial operation of Unit 3 in July 2023, we're witnessing history as Plant Vogtle progresses to become the largest four-unit nuclear site in the United States. The new Vogtle units are an essential part of our commitment to delivering clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy to all of our customers and their enterprises.

Honoring the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr extends further than just today’s holiday.
