Our recent hackathon was a great success – bringing together over 50 attendees from different teams and departments! Since our last bunch of data secrets was such a success, here we are with a few more fun stats from each of our Flink markets!

🇫🇷🍾Even though our French team didn't bring the cup home, French fans still proved their dedication to soccer! The day after the semi-final victory, our Champagne sales increased by 400% compared to our average for the year. These sales exceeded both our Christmas Eve and Valentine's Day Champagne sales! However, our biggest Champagne sale took place on New Year's Eve, accounting for a 2750% increase compared with 2022’s daily average.

🇳🇱☕️As one of the largest importers of roasted coffee in the world, The Netherlands is, unsurprisingly, the market that consumes the most coffee. More specifically, consumers in Eindhoven drink twice as much coffee per head than those in Amsterdam or The Hague. That said, The Hague West is the biggest iced coffee consumer in the country, with 145% more sales than in the average Dutch neighborhood.

🇩🇪🧃Everyone needs a boost once in a while, but what we didn't expect was to be selling 11 times more energy drinks than coffee in Germany! In Cologne particularly, the consumption of energy drinks per head is 50% higher than the average in other German cities. Our most loyal energy-drink customer from all markets comes from Offenbach – with a whopping 294 energy drinks ordered from us!
