Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our employees, volunteers, and event sponsors, this year's Charity Golf Outing raised over $100,000! Yesterday, we donated these funds to four deserving beneficiaries: The Hyner Lodge Foundation, the Loyalsock Foundation , Scenic Rivers YMCA, and The Juniata Valley YMCA . Each of these organizations has a mission to create change and improve the lives of those in their communities, and we are thrilled to contribute to that. As part of an ongoing project in Columbia County, GOH has been working on repairing the embankment along SR-80 adjacent to Fishing Creek. Below is a quick look at our progress so far!

GOH completed the final wearing course at the Dollar General and Tractor Supply in Tipton, PA last week. Here are some aerial shots of the final product. Thank you to the paving, stone and concrete crews that made this project a success!

Last Thursday, the Central Region had the pleasure of hosting 44 children for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Throughout the day, attendees learned about the work we do at GOH, practiced operating various pieces of equipment, had lunch at our tank farm, took a train ride, and watched a blast at our Pleasant Gap facility. We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology for being such wonderful hosts, to North Shore Railroad Company & Affiliates for the use of one of their passenger cars, and to the many employees who worked hard to make this day a success. Finally, thank you to all the kids and families who attended this special event. We hope you had as much fun as we did!
