Countdown to a Triple Satellite Launch! 🚀🛰️

We’re excited to announce that three new #satellites built by GomSpace are ready and set for launch as part of SpaceX's #Transporter11 rideshare mission today. 🚀

This mission includes #CAKRA-1, a satellite for Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries - Republic of Indonesia (KKP), marking a significant step forward for Indonesia’s Ocean Big Data initiatives by optimizing #satellite technology for monitoring national #maritime resources and supporting local #fisheries. 

Additionally, two other GomSpace-built satellites on this rideshare mission will further enhance global capabilities in space-based monitoring and communication.

📍🚀 Launch Details: Estimated launch is scheduled for August 16 from Space Launch Complex 4E at Vandenberg SFB, California, USA, where a #Falcon #9 will carry these three satellites into orbit.

GomSpace will be attending this year’s #DALO #Industry #Days – a key event in Scandinavia where the defense industry takes center stage.

The Small Satellite Conference (SmallSat) has been fantastic so far! 👋 

We’ve had some great conversations with both new and existing customers, exploring innovative solutions and future collaborations. 🛰️

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting a press briefing at GomSpace HQ, with participants from DR - Danmarks Radio, TV2 Nord, and other media representatives. 

This briefing marked the final preparations for our incredible journey with the #JuventasMission.

In just two weeks, the Juventas satellite will be shipped to European Space Agency - ESA #ESTEC in the Netherlands, where it will join the #HERA spacecraft. After that, it’s off to Florida for an expected launch from Cape Canaveral in October. 🚀

It was great to see the press share our excitement as we guided them through the mission's details. They were just as impressed as we are about this groundbreaking mission, where we’re contributing our expertise to one of the most significant space projects of our time. ☄️
