Always considering sustainability is a core pillar for the Go-To team, and it’s a tricky one to nail. Here our Product Manager (and longest serving employee) Kerry Guthrie shares some insights on how we try to do our best in the world of packaging and the environment.

Our CMO Leonie Faddy shared some thoughts this week with the team at Inside Retail Australia , reflecting on a career in beauty, (spoiler alert, the best industry), how data plays a role in marketing and why at Go-To kindness is king.

We’re not serious about much. Except skincare, of course. And! Rewarding our very dedicated team. To round out the financial year, the Go-To team enjoyed massages and manicures, and were gifted soldered jewellery from the incredibly talented jewellers at Alana Maria Jewellery . Three self-care stations were set up inside Go-To HQ to help our staff unwind - the mojitos did a bit here, too - and to say a whopping big thank you for formulating/designing/marketing Australia’s go-to for skincare, daily. Between mouthfuls of brie we got to reflect on our wins, and look forward to all that’s yet to drop this side of Christmas...

To honour and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people during NAIDOC Week 2024, Go-To HQ made space for a series of much-needed conversation starters in the workplace. To ‘keep the fire burning blak, loud and proud’, our soundtrack for the working week was exclusively made up of Indigenous artists. Yothu Yindi, King Stingray, Kid Laroi, Warumpi Band, and more. The team tuned into a live Q&A from Social Activist and Executive General Manager of Inclusion and Social Policy at Australian Football League, Tanya Hosch. A very candid discussion about enriching modern workplaces with the fabric of Indigenous culture (which prioritises history and connection). NAIDOC Week events and workshops, as well as Indigenous art, film and fiction, were championed across The Go-To Guide and Go-To socials as an authentic extension of the self-education our team are committed to pursuing year-round. And lastly, our senior leadership team arranged a gift for the wider team from House of Darwin; a clothing company who reinvest all profits back into social programs within remote Indigenous communities across the NT. Always was. Always will be.

Sydney CBD received a very un-subtle reminder last week that we, Go-To, know how to glow about town. 50 women wearing Transformazing sheet masks and fluffy white robes marched through Martin Place during lunch time, before hitting Pitt Street mall.
