EN- At Group-GTS, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact. Our goal of reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions by 40% by 2030 (with 2023 as the baseline year) reflects our dedication to sustainability. 🌱 A key step in this transition is the introduction of our first EV truck. The experience gained from our two EV terminal tractors, in operation with clients for nearly a year, has led to innovation and learning. These vehicles have already achieved an impressive CO2 reduction of 266,490 kg (WTW) for one of our clients, proving that we are not just talking about sustainability; we are making it a reality. We understand that the shift to electric transport brings challenges, such as the need for charging infrastructure and driver involvement. That’s why we are investing in training our teams and creating the right infrastructure. The additional costs are an investment in a sustainable future for both us and our clients. Group-GTS welcomed an international group at their HQ’s, hosted by Port of Antwerp-Bruges, A Smart Port Connecting Smart People! APEC connects port professionals worldwide, by sharing knowledge and expertise in order to enrich personal careers and build ports of the future. After a general introduction by Sam Cole (Sales Manager Benelux), the group got a in depth overview on the key principles of the coldchain by Steffen Hansen (BU Manager Pharma & Food) and operations manager Roman Pschenitchnyi showed them the practical side of a refrigerated container (reefer) and ran through the checklist for the drivers about genset & GDP. Don’t freeze, just act!

EN - At Group-GTS, we take pride in our shunting division, which plays a crucial role in our operations. We currently service two major global players in Limburg by deploying our drivers 24/7 to timely position trailers and dollies at the docks using our terminal tractors. Our drivers receive extensive training, including on-site guidance and learning to work with client systems. We have 18 terminal tractors in our fleet and focus strongly on sustainability, using HVO biodiesel and providing one electric terminal tractor for each client. Would you like more information? We servicen momenteel twee grote wereldspelers in Limburg door onze chauffeurs 24/7 ter plaatse in te zetten om trailers en opleggers tijdig aan de kade te positioneren met onze terminaltrekkers. Onze chauffeurs ontvangen uitgebreide training, inclusief begeleiding op locatie en het leren werken met klantensystemen. We beschikken over 18 terminaltrekkers in onze vloot en zetten sterk in op duurzaamheid. Bij Group-GTS zetten we ons in voor een duurzame toekomst, en we zijn trots om te melden dat we vorig jaar maar liefst 3,9 miljoen kilogram CO2 hebben bespaard door het gebruik van HVO100-diesel en elektrische terminaltrekkers. EN - Last week, the Truckrun took place once again, and Group-GTS was there for the third year in a row! This time, we welcomed our trucks and drivers with breakfast at our new location in Geel before heading to the Trixxo Arena. It was another fantastic experience! Once at the Arena, it was a pleasure to welcome all the drivers, visitors, and potential new team members. Thank you to everyone who joined us! NL - Afgelopen week vond de Truckrun weer plaats, en Group-GTS was voor de derde keer op rij van de partij! Deze keer hebben we onze vrachtwagens en chauffeurs verwelkomd met een ontbijt in onze nieuwe vestiging in Geel, voordat we naar de Trixxo Arena vertrokken. Het was opnieuw een geweldige ervaring! Eenmaal in de Arena was het een genoegen om alle chauffeurs, bezoekers en potentiële nieuwe medewerkers te verwelkomen. Bedankt aan iedereen die erbij was!

EN: Today we celebrate World Port Day Rotterdam! 🚢 Did you know that 19% of the containers we transport pass through the Port of Rotterdam ? This port is a crucial hub in our logistics network. Other important ports also play a key role in our operations. For instance, 34% of the containers come through Port of Antwerp-Bruges Right Bank, 25% through Antwerp Left Bank, and 2% through Zeebrugge. These figures highlight the immense impact of ports on global trade and the logistics sector. Today, we want to thank the teams and partners in these ports for their invaluable contribution to the efficient and safe flow of goods. NL - Vandaag vieren we Wereldhaven Dag Rotterdam! 🚢 Wist je dat maar liefst 19% van de containers die wij vervoeren via de haven van Rotterdam passeert? Deze haven is een cruciaal knooppunt in ons logistieke netwerk. Maar ook andere belangrijke havens spelen een sleutelrol in ons werk. Zo komt 34% van de containers via Antwerpen Rechteroever en 25% via Antwerpen Linkeroever en 2% via CSP Zeebrugge . Deze cijfers onderstrepen de enorme impact van havens op de wereldwijde handel en de logistieke sector. Vandaag willen we de teams en partners in deze havens bedanken voor hun onmisbare bijdrage aan de efficiënte en veilige goederenstroom.

EN: On International Charity Day, we want to spotlight a special cause. Four years ago, we sponsored an animal ambulance for VOC Neteland. 🚑 Over the past four years, this ambulance has facilitated 197 interventions and transported 171 animals to the clinic. Together, we have saved many animal lives. 🐾💙 NL: Op Internationale Dag van de Liefdadigheid willen we een bijzonder doel in de schijnwerpers zetten. Vier jaar geleden sponsorden wij een dierenambulance voor VOC Neteland. 🚑 Dankzij deze ambulance hebben zij de afgelopen 4 jaren 197 interventies uitgevoerd en 171 dieren naar de dierenkliniek gebracht. Samen hebben we al heel wat dierenlevens kunnen redden. 🐾💙
