🌱Décarbonation des territoires : Inauguration de Mo’UVE, la nouvelle unité de valorisation énergétique du Sirtomad , le syndicat mixte de traitement des déchets du Grand Montauban et de la Communauté de communes Terres des Confluences ! Le 7 novembre, Marie-Claude BERLY , Présidente du Sirtomad, et Joël Séché, Président de Séché Environnement, ont officiellement inauguré Mo’UVE (Montauban Unité de Valorisation Énergétique). Cette nouvelle installation, fruit de deux années de travaux menés en partenariat avec près de 100 entreprises locales représente une avancée pour transformer les déchets du territoire en ressources énergétiques durables et de proximité. Avec Mo’UVE, Ville de Montauban et sa région disposent désormais d’un outil de pointe pour répondre aux défis énergétiques et environnementaux : 🌡️ Production énergétique accrue Mo’UVE double la production d’énergie thermique distribuée via le réseau de chaleur local à l’équivalent de 4 200 logements desservis. ⚡ Génération d’électricité renouvelable L’électricité produite est injectée dans le réseau public, renforçant ainsi l’indépendance énergétique du territoire. 🏞️ Protection de l’environnement Grâce à des systèmes de traitement des fumées de dernière génération, Mo’UVE répond aux standards les plus exigeants en matière de qualité de l’air. 🌱 Séché Environnement Commits to Sustainable Waste Management in the Mining Sector in Peru. Séché Environnement announces the signing of several significant contracts for waste management in the Peruvian mining sector, with an estimated total value of €64.6 million over a five-year period. These contracts highlight the Group's expertise in circular economy solutions for complex mining environments. One of the major projects involves a partnership with Antamina Mining Company, one of the world's leading sites for copper, zinc, and other metals extraction. Séché Environnement will provide comprehensive waste management services (Total Waste Management) with a focus on material recovery. The contract with Antamina includes a plan for waste collection, sorting, and processing to optimize the recovery of collected streams. By implementing tailored solutions and raising awareness among field teams, we aim to develop an "Antamina circular" program to maximize waste recovery. [ #Finance 📊] Séché Environnement Confirms Its Revenue Targets for 2024. The third quarter of 2024 shows a strong level of activity for the Group, both in France and internationally. Growth in France remains solid across most markets, particularly in depollution and environmental emergency services. Internationally, the gradual ramp-up of strategic contracts signed this summer reaffirms the outlook for dynamic growth in this sector over the coming months. [📰Dans la presse] Zoom sur un des plus grands chantiers de dépollution d’Europe à Frontignan (Hérault) avec L'Usine Nouvelle 🏗️ Depuis août 2022, Séché Eco Services, filiale de Séché Environnement, travaille activement sur le chantier de réhabilitation de l'ancienne raffinerie Mobil, un site de 11 hectares pollué par des hydrocarbures, du plomb et de l'arsenic. Grâce à une innovation majeure – une tente gonflable de 50m x 120m – nous réalisons des excavations sous confinement afin de protéger l'environnement et les riverains. 🌱 Cette structure mobile, déplacée 17 fois durant le chantier, permet de maîtriser les nuisances, comme les odeurs et la poussière, tout en assurant la dépollution de plus de 170 000 m³ de terres. Depuis décembre 2022, il occupe un poste clé sur notre site de Changé, où il supervise une unité de production d'énergie. Son rôle ? Encadrer les équipes, gérer les procédés complexes de valorisation des déchets, et veiller à ce que notre unité de production fonctionne en continu, 24h/24 et 7j/7. Un défi technique de taille, mais aussi une véritable mission environnementale. François-Xavier s’assure que nos opérations minimisent leur impact sur l'environnement tout en produisant une énergie bas-carbone qui chauffe une partie de la ville de Laval et soutient les acteurs économiques locaux. 🌊Collecting lost shipments on South African shores Sailing conditions have been particularly harsh this winter in South Africa. It's estimated that the huge ships hugging the Indian Ocean coastline have lost no fewer than 200 containers in just 8 weeks! A situation that poses a major environmental risk for hundreds of kilometers of coastline. To speed up the collection of waste that reaches the shore every day, Spill Tech , a subsidiary of Séché Environnement, has been assisting with clean-up response efforts. “We have set up collection points and a toll-free number for residents who find waste washed up on the coast. The company provides industrial cleaning, site decontamination, marine decontamination, and polluted soil treatment services; storage services of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; thermal treatment services; and collection and pre-treatment services of recoverable waste, such as mechanical/ biological sorting, maturing, business waste, solid recovered fuel, and wood. It also offers decontamination, dismantling, and rehabilitation of industrial sites; electricity and steam supply based on biogas, solid recovered fuel, or wood; purification of synthesis intermediates; decontamination of metals; and treatment of gas, as well as covering the regeneration of used products. In addition, the company provides transport of waste; residues from the purification of incineration fumes from household, industrial waste, and ash; and environmental emergencies response services.
