Pumps are our business. Every day, our energy efficient pumps provide comfort, deliver drinking water, remove wastewater, or help farmers water their crops all over the world. Just to mention some of our expertise. We set the standard within our work areas and keep raising the bar when it comes to energy efficiency and protecting the environment. Since 1945 we’ve honed our skills in order to produce the perfect pumps. Pumps which can move liquid to where it should be – using as little energy as possible, making a real difference for the people and the world we live in.

We recently announced the appointment of Hamed Heyhat as EVP and CEO of our Water Utility division and we're excited to share his vision for the future of the Water Utility division.

Recently, 100 volunteers from Grundfos Philippines and Service Delivery Leadership participated in a coastal clean-up drive at the Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area in the Philippines. This event highlighted Grundfos' commitment to promoting clean water and a healthy environment. The clean-up efforts also benefited the mangrove forests and swamps, which are essential habitats for many migratory bird species.

It's history time...

... Did you know that the idea for the Grundfos Archimedes’ screw logo came from an employee, who saw the similarity between the technology of the screw and the company's first centrifugal pump, CP, launched in 1952?

The current logo from 2001 is a stylised version of the old logo that was introduced in 1955.

Before that the logo was a combination of the letters BP - an abbreviation of the then company name Bjerringbro Pressestøberi (Foundry) and later Bjerringbro Pumpefabrik (Pump Factory).

Committed to sustainable growth, the luxurious Anantara New York Palace Hotel in Budapest, Hungary, had been planning to modernise its pump system.
