It was an exciting night at this week’s Fabricators and Manufacturers Association Gala, where John Axelberg, GSM’s CEO, was nominated for the Power of Industry award. This yearly event is a fundraiser to support Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs (NBT), a youth program designed to spark interest in manufacturing with hands-on activities and industry tours. This summer GSM provided tours for two local schools that participated in NBT summer camps, and we enjoyed seeing the excitement in students’ eyes as they saw, first-hand, the opportunities they have in manufacturing.

General Stamping & Metalworks is proud to have recently treated our South Bend employees to a “Day at the Zoo." Our GSM family picnicked together inside of the zoo enjoying Nelson’s BBQ, friendly cornhole matches, and even a visit from one of the resident armadillos!
