Following official testing two weeks ago, the first rounds of the 2024/25 Gulf Radical Cup and Gulf ProCar Enduro Cup are the star attractions this weekend on the 16-turn, 3.45 kms National Circuit at the Dubai Autodrome. Commercial rights holder and series promoter GulfSport Racing is expecting a typical multi-national entry featuring returning and new drivers to the grids. The action will be live-streamed to enable driver’s families, teams and fans to watch all the action on YouTube. The Gulf Radical Cup is a highly competitive single-marque event for drivers of Radical SR3 production sport-prototypes. With the SR3’s naturally-aspirated 232bhp RPE built engine revving to 10,500 rpm in a high-downforce rolling chassis that weighs just 620 kgs, this series has become the first choice for ambitious drivers all around the world, some of whom plan to graduate to international endurance racing in a Le Mans Prototype machine (e.g. a 950kgs, 460bhp LMP3). The Gulf ProCar and ProCar Enduro Cup races provides a multi-marque / multi-class 24-hour endurance racing experience for drivers of a variety of GT3/GT4/Touring/Saloon machinery including Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Renault Clio, BMW etc. The next event takes place at the $1bn Yas Marina Circuit on the 8-10th November and will include the Radical World Finals with drivers from UAE, Canada, USA, Australia, Brazil, Japan, UK, Asia and Europe taking part.

The last round of the 2023/24 Gulf Radical Cup took place on the challenging 3.56 km National Circuit at the Dubai Autodrome. Although 25 drivers had taken part this season in what has become the region’s premier sportscar championship, this particular event was particularly important to four drivers who were in with a shout of the title; namely Alex Bukhantsov (TT Racing), Usmaan Mughal (Relentless By GulfSport Racing), Alim Geshev (TT Racing) and Jimmy Chou (TT Racing).
