We are thrilled to announce our latest initiative to contribute to the green hydrogen market and to decarbonization efforts! #GVS , a leading provider of advanced filtration solutions, is embarking on a project to build a new manufacturing facility for an innovative diaphragm for alkaline water electrolysis systems. This diaphragm, developed internally by our R&D department, showcases our expertise in membrane and filtration materials production. We're investing in a new facility at our headquarters in Zola Predosa (Bologna), with a capacity to supply 4 GW/year electrolyser capacity for green hydrogen production. This translates to approximately 320,000 tons of H2 per year! "This new product, entirely developed by GVS Research & Development, is a testament to our superior capabilities in developing highly innovative solutions for advanced filtration." Says our CEO, Massimo Scagliarini . We're proud to align with the European Hydrogen Strategy's goals and will submit a funding proposal to the EU Innovation Fund to further support our endeavors.
