At the Meet Magento conference, industry leaders from Poland shared their valuable insights. 🚀 Our team engaged with key topics, including performance optimisation through Varnish cache and advanced cache management. This knowledge will empower us to deliver more efficient and faster solutions for our lovely customers, which is fundamental to our mission. 🧡 The Odoo Experience in Brussels celebrated the release of Odoo version 18. This conference featured inspirational lectures packed with insights about the new version. 👀 Our developers explored emerging trends and technologies and enjoyed unique networking opportunities filled with inspiration. WE CLOSED Q3 AT THE GYMBEAM ALL HANDS MEETING! Q3 has come to an end, and we marked it with another All-Hands meeting, reflecting on our achievements and discussing the next steps for Q4. So, let's explore the key milestones of Q3/2024 together: 🚀 Our growth rate in skyrocketed: DE 🇩🇪 rose by 644% YoY , IT 🇮🇹 by 148% YoY, and GR 🇬🇷 by 64% YoY! 🚀 Our biggest milestone was the launch of AutoStore in September. 🚀 We hosted the first event for logistics professionals, called “Logistics Night”, in a friendly atmosphere at GymBeam in Košice. 🚀 We launched an extensive video campaign across all gyms in Germany. 🚀 We held up to 80 workshops attended by 334 colleagues, introduing three new ones: GenAI, Stress Management, and Tableau. 🚀 We opened a new picking zone in Autostore and kicked off capsule production. 💊 A huge thank you to every member of the GymBeam dream team–this dynamic growth is a testament to all of us. THE GYMBEAM DATA HACKATHON HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED AS THE BEST HACKATHON IN THE CZECH AND SLOVAK REPUBLIC! 💥🚀 This weekend, our office in Košice hosted 130 data enthusiasts for a three-day GymBeam Data Hackathon, organized in collaboration with Keboola . 🐙 The challenge was to develop an AI advisor that can recommend products based on an extensive dataset of scientific studies examining the effects of these products on health. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life for the general public and encourage healthy habits through modern technology and artificial intelligence. 💊 Here are some key highlights from the GymBeam Data Hackathon: 💡 60% of participants were experienced professionals from the Czech and Slovak Republic. 🧑🎓 40% were ambitious university students from across Slovakia. 🧘 Participants enjoyed yoga, massages, corrective exercises, and various games to enhance their experience. 📊 They had the opportunity to check their health using the InBody device and to test for vitamin D3 and omega-3 levels. 🏭 Over the weekend, we organized three company tours and two AutoStore tours. 🍲 Participants enjoyed healthy, balanced warm meals that enhanced their brainpower. 🤖 Robot Jim provided nonstop full-service support, delivering drinks and snacks directly to participants. As part of the GymBeam Data Hackathon, we hosted the DATA mesh event for the first time in Slovakia. Notable speakers included Dalibor Cicman , Pavel Dolezal , Filip Kirchner, and Filip Vítek . 🚀 We sincerely congratulate the winning team, Hirelogic, on their impressive victory of €10,000. 🥳 We are extremely proud of what we accomplished as a team this weekend. 🚀Our entire Data Team and the HR Team were available to participants around the clock. WE WELCOMED LOGISTICS EXPERTS AT GYMBEAM. 🚀 This summer, we decided to organize an event with a friendly atmosphere for logistics experts and innovations enthusiasts at GymBeam , and our vision finally became a reality last week. 🤩 On Wednesday, we officially opened our first AutoStore™ 🤖 and concluded the day with a unique event–Logistics Night. The entire evening was dedicated to discussions about AutoStore, shared logistics, automation, robotization, and D2C. We want to extend our gratitude to speakers Alexander Szalai , Boris Heger , Jakub Zilincan , and Richard Ďurech for their presentation, which provided us with in-depth details and their unique know-how. 🔥 The event was a success, and we are already looking forward to its continuation and sharing new insides from the world of logistics. WE LAUNCHED OUR FIRST AUTOSTORE. 🤖 Last week, we launched AutoStore™ , a robotic warehouse introduced as a pilot project to showcase the future of logistics at GymBeam . AutoStore fundamentally transforms the performance and efficiency of order fulfilment. 🚀 The AutoStore in Košice is a €2.9 million investment covering an area of 625 m² and is equipped with 32 robots and 9 ports. A second phase is planned to start on February 1, 2025, which will increase the number of robots to 102 and the ports to 16. The total investment, including conveyors and machinery, will reach €7.9 million. 💥 In the future, AutoStore in Košice will handle about 80% of orders and will be supported by a manual picking zone for oversized items and bestsellers. One of its advantages is the ability to expand while in operation. ☝️ We also plan to launch similar projects in Rome and Cologne, with an estimated total cost of around €24 million. These three systems are expected to handle 45,000 orders per day, resulting in annual revenues of nearly €1 billion. 🔥 This project was a collaborative effort, and special thanks go to Alexander Szalai , Peter Heczko , and the entire Continuous Improvement team for leading the initiative, as well as to Tomas Karafa , Jozef Leščinski , and their logistics team for their immense dedication. We also extend our gratitude to our IT wizards for their perfect collaboration and support in implementing the system in record time: Nikoleta Kocáková , Anna Spišáková , Rastislav Skultety , Michael Heiland , and Martin Baroš . 🧡 We are all very proud of you guys. 🫶
