In der letzten Woche fand der jährliche Ausflug unserer Auszubildenden statt - ganz im Zeichen von Kennenlernen und Team Building. Kreativität, Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit waren gefragt, um Aufgaben wie eine Floßbau-Challenge und eine Kanu-GPS-Rallye zu meistern. Solche Ausflüge sind ein wichtiges und gern genutztes Tool für uns, um den Teamgeist zu stärken, die Motivation zu fördern und unsere Auszubildenden auf ihrem beruflichen Weg bestmöglich zu unterstützen. A team of around 30 H&L colleagues laced up their running shoes to take part in Northern Germany's largest company and charity run on June 1st. Together with 507 other teams, they set off on a 4.5-kilometre course through the modern districts of Hamburg's HafenCity. The result is impressive: The 17,200 participants raised €90,000 for charity. A big shout out to all participants!

Today's International Tea Day is an excellent opportunity to pay tribute to the multifaceted product that is tea and to recognise all those involved in the entire production chain, from the tea harvest to the finished product. On the initiative of the German Tea and Herbal Infusions Association ( Deutscher Tee & Kräutertee Verband ), this year we are celebrating the day together under the motto "Tea unites the World": Asia, Africa, South America and Europe - every day tea creates an invisible link between the whole world and us. It builds bridges between continents and cultures, bringing people together and creating moments that unite. Those who share tea enjoy it in peace.
