Today, Hanon Systems proudly announced our newest electric compressor manufacturing plant in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. As our first eCompressor manufacturing facility in North America, Woodbridge demonstrates our commitment to supporting customers in the region by locally producing this critical component for thermal management in hybrid and electric vehicles. The Coclisa plants in Juárez, Mexico hosted their annual health, safety and environment fair on Oct. 12. Last week, the company’s Americas Innovation Center in #Novi , #Michigan hosted the 39th annual Gene Rhodes Cure for Diabetes Golf Classic. Paying tribute to Gene Rhodes, a former engineering employee known as “the grandfather of aluminum radiators” who suffered from diabetes, the event raises money for the University of Michigan’s diabetes research center. 116 golfers participated this year, including current and former employees, their friends and family, and suppliers, raising more than $12,000 for the cause. Hanon Systems manufactures, distributes, and sells automotive thermal and energy management solutions for conventional, electric, hybrid, fuel cell, and autonomous vehicles in South Korea, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The company offers heating ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; and radiators, compressors and clutches, charge air coolers, exhaust gas recirculation modules, electronic coolant pumps and valves, electronic waste gate actuators, cold storage evaporator, and electronic throttle bodies. It also provides fluid transport products, including refrigerant lines, coolant lines, transmission oil cooler lines, accumulators, receiver driers, internal heat exchangers, and metal seal fittings. In addition, the company offers automatic and manual front and rear temperature controls that operate the HVAC systems; cluster ion generators; and cooling modules, such as radiators, condensers, fans, and shrouds. Further, it is involved in the development, technology consultation, import, and export of auto parts. The company was formerly known as Halla Visteon Climate Control Corporation and changed its name to Hanon Systems in August 2015.
