Henley Business Angels (HBA), which operates from Henley Business School at the University of Reading, is a network of experienced business leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and investors. The network’s aim is to facilitate opportunities for members to invest in and mentor (S)EIS registered early-stage businesses launched by entrepreneurs who graduated from or are connected with the Henley Business School and the University of Reading.

📣 Latest Investment News 📣

A syndicate of 14 Henley Business Angels members have made the largest investment of the network to date in Oxi-Tech Solutions Limited, a ground-breaking clean-in-place disinfectant technology company, contributing to an overall funding round of £1m🤝

Within the agricultural sector, large, automated, critical systems across the food manufacturing process - from milking machines to animal feed systems - require clean water as an absolute necessity for their operation🐄

Due to the nature of these systems, they become a breeding ground for bacteria and other pathogens such as E-Coli and Avian Flu (H5N1), requiring regular disinfection to remain safely operational🦠

Traditionally, methods of disinfection across sectors utilise chemicals, which are not only time-consuming but also costly and with high levels of risk associated⚠️

Oxi-Tech Solutions Limited’s ground-breaking technology eliminates the high recurring costs and safety risks of traditional chemical disinfectant processes by creating an oxidation process in-situ from tap water, a process that is safe to use for humans and animals🚰

The Activated Oxygen produced from this process is an incredibly powerful disinfectant, but temporary in nature, enabling tap water to return to its normal state within minutes of use; except that this water will be pathogen free👏
