Since 2012, we’ve been on a mission to make 100% natural, plant-based food both accessible and truly delicious. It is with the deepest sadness and regret that Hero announces the passing of Emilio Gimeno Cuspinera, former CEO of Hero España, S.A. , who was an essential part of our company from its inception and whose work left an indelible mark on our history. Hero Group CEO Rob Versloot , said: “Today, Hero and Murcia have lost a great colleague and a friend. On behalf of everyone at Hero, I would like to express my most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones in these difficult times.” Emilio joined the company in 1976 and assumed the role of CEO for Hero España five years later. During his tenure, Emilio oversaw some of the most important milestones for Hero España, such as the launch of a new infant food category under the Hero Baby brand. His innovative approach and ability to guide the company through times of change marked a turning point in our growth.
