Yesterday was a big day for us – congratulations to all the team in Weeze, Germany 🥂✂️

We opened our expanded site at Weeze with double the manufacturing capacity for  hydrogen infrastructure systems for distribution, refueling and stationary storage 🎊

How are these products used? 

Almost 100 million tons  of hydrogen is produced annually and many of these molecules need to be transported to where they’re needed and safely stored. 

Our technologies can be used for any color of hydrogen. 

Several industries use mostly grey hydrogen today in their manufacturing processes including pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and food processing.

Our type 4 hydrogen distribution modules have a much lower total cost of ownership than steel-based cylinders, with 2-3 times the payload compared to steel tube trailers. 

There is also a growing market for green hydrogen in the mobility sector for example where our cylinders are also capturing demand.  🟢🚛🚍

Today we celebrate the opening of our expanded manufacturing facility in Weeze, Germany! 🥁 🍾

The facility doubles our capacity for Type 4 high-pressure hydrogen infrastructure solutions! 🎉🚛

The site will be our primary manufacturing hub for engineering and production of hydrogen infrastructure products including systems for distribution, refueling and stationary storage.

This is facility number 4 to open in the last 12 months as we ramp up its capacity to meet growing customer demand as the world transitions to clean energy sources. 🌎

Electric buses are struggling with the cold (-18 today), quickly running out of power and experiencing charging problems ❄️☃️

But switching back to diesel is no solution 🌎

Hydrogen electric vehicles are a safe and complementary solution to battery electric vehicles, especially in cold climates where the batteries are less efficient.

Hydrogen buses cope well with the cold and have a longer range than battery electric.

They’re already in use in many places throughout the world - we supply our type 4 cylinders for some of them.

Let’s not stop emission-reducing measures just because battery-electric buses do not work as well in all temperatures!

It’ll be our fourth new site opening in just 12 months.

 We’ll be delivering hydrogen distribution systems to a leading global industrial gas company in the UK. 🎊
 
 The value of the order is approximately EUR 3 million.  Each system will be able to transport more than 1 ton of hydrogen.
  
 Following the UK's departure from the EU and new regulatory requirements in the UK for hydrogen cylinder storage, our systems will now carry the UK "Rho" mark, indicating conformity with UK standards, and will also retain the “Pi” mark for use in Europe 🌍
