As an Architectural Setup II, Clinton is responsible for: • Assisting in the setup process • Working in a timely and safe manner to ensure production schedules are met • Preparing forms daily for the pouring process as specified on drawings or by the area supervisor Clinton’s promotion to his current role is his proudest accomplishment since joining the team at High Concrete Group . His favorite aspects of his job are the hours, his coworkers, and the diversity. Key Responsibilities: • Check 2-D CAD shop drawings and 3-D CAD models for structural steel fabrication. • Ensure compliance with High Steel’s drawing standards and preferred fabrication practices. • Read and interpret contract plans and various owner specifications. • Assist in 2-D drafting and 3-D modeling of structural steel as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum of six years of experience in structural steel detailing, modeling, or fabrication. • Proficiency in Microstation or AutoCAD; experience in 3D modeling and Tekla software is preferred. • Strong skills in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Check out our Progress! We’re excited to return to Villanova University for a new parking structure, replacing an old garage and increasing capacity from 175 to 300 spaces. This project involves nearly 400 pieces of precast to create a 4-level structure designed for future vertical expansion. High Concrete Group has been part of multiple building projects at Villanova University , where matching the campus aesthetic is a top priority. This parking structure features multiple finishes, including stone and light sandblast, and incorporates a cross used in previous projects, ensuring seamless integration with surrounding buildings. 🌟 Team Member Spotlight 🌟 We’re thrilled to highlight one of our dedicated team members, Gary Truiz, who plays a crucial role as Batch Plant Equipment Operator at High Concrete Group. As a Batch Plant Equipment Operator, Gary is responsible for: - Loading all materials into the batching hopper. - Turning materials in holding bins throughout the day to keep them wet. - Working with outside haulers as they arrive at the plant to ensure we have enough material on hand for each day's production schedule. - Performing general equipment maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections. Gary advises new team members: “Be ready to work and learn.” Outside work, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, watching football and NASCAR, cooking on the grill, and vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland.
