HIMA acquires Origo Solutions
 
We are delighted to announce that Origo Solutions | A HIMA Company, our longstanding partner in Norway is part of the HIMA Group with effect from 31 January 2024. Origo Solutions was previously part of the Moreld Group.
 
HIMA and Origo Solutions can look back on more than 20 years of cooperation based on partnership. This partnership has not just been about business; it has been a shared journey with a common Safety-DNA, values, ideas, committed teams, and procedures that have strengthened our bond over the years.

We are excited to tell you about our latest success story in the rail industry.
 
In Italy, our HIMatrix F30 controllers are now ensuring maximum safety in the "Galleria Ceraino" high-speed tunnel on the route from Verona to Brenner.

European regulations have required earthing in railroad tunnels for some time now. There are different types of earthing systems. MONT-ELE SRL in Italy has developed the first automated and remote earthing control called STES (Sottosistema Trazione Elettrica di Sicurezza) for a high-speed train tunnel and decided to use our HIMA controllers. 

“In addition to SIL 4 certification, an important decision criterion for us to rely on HIMA automation technology was that HIMatrix controllers can be easily integrated into our systems and flexibly adapted to customer requirements,” explains our partner MONT-ELE SRL.
