The Haul Truck department at Hofmann Engineering Perth continues with Spindle upgrades. Hofmann Engineering has the machining capability to perform the complete manufacturing of Hitachi EH5000 Rear Wheel Drive Spindles using Hofmann upgraded 1-Piece forging. Machining of the spindle occurs on a 6 Axis gantry precision milling machine with integral 3D CMM measurement, enhancing the precision of the operations on different machining planes and reducing the number of set-ups and configuration times.
