Last week we celebrated the host community in Mallorca with our #FAVFest Baleares. This gathering was our way of meeting new faces, expressing our appreciation for the local people who run the vacation rental business in Mallorca and sharing thoughts and ideas with them.

Yash Joshi joined Holidu in February 2022, contributing over six years of expertise in Analytics and Data Science to #strengthen the Business Intelligence Department. As a Senior Data Analyst, 👨💻 he collaborates closely with the Holidu Homes team to facilitate data-driven decision-making. 

With a bachelor's degree in engineering, he thrives on tackling diverse tasks. From extracting insights from data to crafting visually appealing dashboards and conducting A/B testing, he finds immense satisfaction in the multifaceted challenges he encounters. His responsibilities extend to constructing #data 📊pipelines and harnessing the potential of machine learning for predictive analytics. At Holidu, he appreciates the ideal blend of #professional engagement and leisure, accompanied by a diverse and vibrant group of colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.

When he's not delving into the intricacies of datasets, you can find him engaged in music production, travelling, hiking, or pursuing his other interests. In 2022, he released his E.P, which can be streamed on Spotify and has nearly 1 million plays. 🎤

In 2017, Kathi embarked on a distinctive cross-departmental journey within Holidu, starting as an intern in the HR department. At that time there were around 60 employees only (today we are over 500). After her internship she transitioned into a full-time role as a Junior HR Manager, #driven by contributing to the development of processes in the dynamic startup environment. Kathi’s primary focus lay on recruiting IT 💻 professionals, including backend developers and product managers who continued to make a lasting impact within the company until today.


She kind of fell in love with the tech 👩💻 side so much that she embarked on a new chapter in her career by #transitioning to the Bookiply tech department and assuming the role of Product Manager. In the Channel Manager Team, she and her colleagues are dedicated to ensuring the competitive distribution of Bookiply properties across various channels, with the ultimate goal of maximising bookings for their hosts.😄


What Kathi finds most fulfilling about her journey at Holidu is the privilege of #collaborating with numerous talented individuals, fostering innovation and growth. 📈 Outside the office, she enjoys reading, working out at the gym, and exploring new destinations through travel. Plus mastering the art of baking, which keeps her team happy!
