Rapid response from IT and incident response teams have helped to contain costs, but it is still likely to be one of (if not) the biggest losses for the cyber insurance market. The incident has reinforced the relevance of the product by indemnifying losses and assisting clients with incident response services.

Since the global IT outage, we have seen heightened risk awareness, and an increased demand for cyber insurance, particularly from SMEs.

Looking ahead, we expect the outage to accelerate the cyber market’s development on three fronts: relevance, innovation and demand.

Extreme heat is more than a climate issue – it is a pressing health, humanitarian, and economic crisis. In June, nearly five billion people experienced extreme heat over a nine-day period, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable cooling solutions. The Howden Foundation is committed to helping vulnerable communities adapt to extreme heat by funding solutions that build resilience.

What a fulfilling 3 days it has been hosting our Asia Regional Conference 2024 in Taiwan! 

Inspired by the Avengers, our theme for the Asia Regional Conference 2024 was “Unleashing the Power of Collaboration” – celebrating collaboration, ingenuity, and leadership in achieving extraordinary goals.  

Together with 150 delegates, we reflected on our remarkable journey and discussed our ambitious plans for the future, all while enjoying the stunning city of Taipei.
