As medical technology and drug delivery devices continue to advance, a key trend driving innovation is the emphasis on patient-centric ergonomics and usability. Consider the growing use of self-administered treatments; from on body delivery systems to auto-injectors for biologics, patients are increasingly tasked with managing their own therapies. To ensure successful outcomes, these devices need to accommodate therapy-specific levels of dexterity, strength, and cognitive ability. Poor designs could lead to dosing errors, patient discomfort, or even non-compliance, which undermines treatment outcomes. By incorporating ergonomic principles into the process, our expert team can design drug delivery systems that are easier to handle, reducing the physical and mental challenges posed to patients.
