2023 was another challenging year for people and businesses around the world. In times like these, it's more important than ever not to lose focus on our sustainability ambitions.   

As of FY23, we decreased our climate footprint by 22% in absolute terms compared to baseline FY16 and accelerated our climate actions, reduced plastic packaging in consumer goods by 47% compared to baseline FY21, and continued contributing to a fair and equal society.

Over the last decade, we at IKEA have spoken to over a quarter of a million people in more than 40 countries. Seeking to understand life at home, we tapped into the deep emotions people feel about life inside their four walls.

Instellar dan IKEA Social Entrepreneurship mengumumkan sepuluh wirausaha sosial terpilih untuk program I-SEA Cohort kedua. Kesepuluh wirausaha sosial tersebut adalah Agridesa, Aluan, Conservana, Java Fresh, Nichoa Chocolate, PasarMIKRO, Pepper Secret, Plana, Rezycology, dan Tarunira. 
 
Instellar dan IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator (I-SEA) adalah program satu tahun yang yang bertujuan memperkuat wirausaha sosial untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat dari kelompok marginal di Indonesia. Bersama dengan IKEA Indonesia, program ini mendukung wirausaha sosial mengembangkan bisnis mereka dan meningkatkan dampaknya dengan memberikan panduan, bimbingan, pembiayaan, dan dukungan ekosistem yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan.
 
Kesepuluh wirausaha sosial terpilih (I-SEA Changemakers) akan memulai perjalanan mereka dengan intensive bootcamp yang berlangsung di Tangerang, pada 14-16 Januari 2024. Selama bootcamp, wirausaha sosial akan difasilitasi untuk merefleksikan tujuan, masalah, dan solusi mereka; mendapatkan wawasan tentang organisasi, nilai-nilai, dan budaya IKEA untuk menyempurnakan rencana bisnis; membina kolaborasi antarwirausaha sosial dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk langkah selanjutnya dari program ini.

"Rabu, 20 Desember 2023, IKEA Indonesia menyerahkan donasi kepada Yayasan Save The Children untuk perbaikan sanitasi air untuk anak di desa Patrolsari, Kabupaten Bandung. 

Donasi ini merupakan hasil penjualan koleksi AFTONSPARV yang digalang dari 19 Oktober hingga 26 November 2023. Pelanggan turut berkontribusi Rp 10.000 untuk setiap pembelian produk dalam koleksi AFTONSPARV.

IKEA Indonesia mengucapkan terima kasih banyak kepada seluruh pelanggan yang telah turut serta dalam mendukung program ini. Melalui program ini, IKEA ingin menciptakan kehidupan sehari-hari yang lebih baik bagi banyak orang dan berharap perbaikan sanitasi air di wilayah Bandung Barat dapat memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi masyarakat sekitar."
