The Music4Diabetes Consortium launched a new project to improve Type 1 Diabetes treatment by developing an implantable multi-metabolite sensor connected to a pump that delivers insulin continuously.

We are proud to be one of the seven consortium members to be spearheading this project which has already benefitted from a prestigious €3.8m European Innovation Council pathway programme grant.

Next week, on November 14, is #worlddiabetesday . This year is particularly special as it marks 100 years since scientists, Frederick Banting and John Macleod, were awarded a Nobel Prize in 1923 for the discovery of insulin.
