INJECTIVE’S ALL-NEW LAYER-3 NETWORK - WHAT WE KNOW…

- Today saw INJECTIVE and The Arbitrum Foundation collaboratively announce an all-new layer-3 network called ‘inEVM’.

- The network is built using Arbitrum’s ‘Orbit Stack’, though it has been heavily customized, creating a bespoke architecture for inEVM.

- As you may have guessed by the name, inEVM is compatible with the world-renowned Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and connects Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos, to provide a never before seen degree of interoperability.

- According to an official release from Injective…

“With inEVM, users gain access to a seamless platform connecting Ethereum, Injective and Cosmos, enabling cross-chain compatibility and fostering a more interconnected blockchain landscape. This interoperability opens up a myriad of possibilities for developers and users alike”

- In short, inEVM both provides developers access to the Ethereum ecosystem, while also maintaining the “lightning fast speeds and low fees” exhibited by Injective itself.

- inEVM will leverage $INJ as its native gas token and inEVM transactions also qualify for Injective’s well-known ‘Burn Auction’.
