We are pleased to announce that we've successfully raised a €100 million fund dedicated to supporting deeptech scale-up companies! This fund comes in addition to our third deeptech venture capital fund, which is on track to close at €500 million before this summer. 

Investments in deeptech companies play a pivotal role in driving both economic growth and societal advancement. Across Europe, deeptech firms often encounter challenges in securing the necessary funding for their pivotal growth phase. To address this challenge proactively, we've partnered with our cornerstone LPs, PME pensioenfonds and Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek ( PMT ), to establish the 'Strategic Partners Fund'. Through this fund, we will be investing tickets ranging from €10-25 million in scale-up companies from our portfolio. Our recent investment in EFFECT Photonics marks the beginning of this exciting journey.

As Investment Analyst, Céline will support the team in managing early stage investments and evaluating new propositions. Prior to joining Innovation Industries, Céline worked in private equity at HAL Investments. She is now excited to dive into the VC landscape. Céline holds a BSc in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Mathematical and Computational Finance from the University of Oxford.

As Investment Associate, Tom will support the team in managing current investments and evaluating new propositions. Prior to joining Innovation Industries, Tom worked in several investment banking roles, most recently at Morgan Stanley in their Benelux Coverage Group and their Global Power & Utilities Group. Tom holds a BSc in Applied Earth Sciences (Mining, Oil and Gas) and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology.
