We are iXS: an international brand by motorcycle fans for motorcycle fans – since 1979. We are from Switzerland: a country full of mountains and passes, where one can easily encounter the four seasons within a week or even a day. We grew up in these quite extreme conditions. This is why we know so well which features and functions motorcyclists find most helpful. We gladly pass on this knowledge and the associated feeling of life – with great enthusiasm and passion.

It's only logical that we only produce cleverly thought-through and best-produced technical products – "designed and born in Switzerland."​ Each of our high-performance pieces of clothing is researched, designed, developed and tested to ensure it not only meets the highest Swiss quality claims, but is also characterized by a combination of smart functions.

DOPPELTE PODEST-PREMIERE FÜR DOMINIQUE AEGERTER
Zum Saisonabschluss der Superbike Weltmeisterschaft gelingt Dominique Aegerter eine doppelte Podest-Premiere. Er fuhr in seiner ersten Saison in der WSBK in Jerez zwei Mal aufs Podium und wird 2. und 3. Mit dabei auch Yamaha und iXS. Was für ein toller Erfolg!

Etwas trostlos sah es aus, als man am Freitagnachmittag über das Gelände des Big Air spazierte. Grauer Himmel, matschiger Boden und die unberührte, aber dennoch imposante Sprungrampe. Das Freeski Finale musste wegen starkem Wind und hohen Temperaturen an diesem Tag abgesagt werden. Die Besucher, die den Weg ins Festivalgelände gefunden hatten, tummelten sich unter den Dächern der Partyzelte. Gegen Abend und mit dem Start der Konzerte änderte sich dies schlagartig. Die Massen strömten hinein und schienen sich auch nicht am prasselnden Regen zu stören. 13'000 Besucher am Freitag und 15'000 am Samstag sollen es gemäss dem Veranstalter gewesen sein.

Yamaha und iXS waren letzten Sonntag in Feierlaune: YART gewann mit Marvin Fritz, Niccolo Canepa und Karel Hanika die Langstrecken-Weltmeisterschaft. Ein vierter Rang reichte beim 24h-Rennen im französischen Le Castellet. Dank der Partnerschaft mit YART stand auch iXS auf dem Podium. Hier geht's zum ganzen Bericht: https://lnkd.in/ehxeUCFf

Storytime: Da staunt unser Chef, als er auf der Isle of Man am Hafen auf einen älteren Herren in einer uralten iXS Montevideo Tourenjacke trifft. Mit den Worten "Das ist meine Jacke" spricht er den Mann an. Etwas verdutzt aber bestimmt antwortet dieser: "Nein! Das ist MEINE Jacke".  Das Missverständnis wurde schnell geklärt und ein angeregtes Gespräch begann. Die Jacke besitzt Klaus aus Deutschland bereits seit 1998 und sie leistet ihm seit dem gute Dienste.  Wir sind beeindruckt von Klaus' treue zu seiner alten Montevideo Jacke und deshalb hat sie einen Ehrenplatz in der iXS Galerie verdient, wo diese jetzt auch ausgestellt ist. Selbstverständlich hat Klaus eine neue Version der Jacke erhalten.
