It is with tremendous sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Michael Turner, who served as a Superintendent in our Rhode Island office. Mike passed away on Saturday, October 26, leaving behind his beloved wife, children, friends, and many coworkers who cared deeply for him. 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. He was a devoted member of the Carpenters Local 326 and played a vital role in overseeing projects throughout the country. More than a valued team member, his impact on our team was profound, and his contributions will never be forgotten. Friend and colleague Quentin Thorson shared a heartfelt tribute that truly captures Mike’s spirit: “Mike was one of the greatest men I have ever met in my life. He was among the most positive, optimistic, honorable, and caring individuals I have known. He approached everything he did with the utmost professionalism and truly cared about those around him, always wanting the best for everyone. No matter the task, no matter how challenging, Mike was all in. Words cannot express enough how much he meant to everyone he encountered. He is truly irreplaceable.” To honor Mike’s memory and support his family, GoFundMe pages have been set up to help cover funeral expenses and provide for his family.
