Kenmare Resources plc is an established mining company, which operates the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine, located on the north east coast of Mozambique.

The Mine has been in production since 2007 and is recognised as a major supplier of mineral sand products to a global customer base operating in over 15 countries. Kenmare’s products are key raw materials processed into intermediate products and ultimately consumed in everyday quality-of-life products such as paints, plastics and ceramic tiles.

With approximately 1,400 direct employees and a 95% Mozambican workforce, Kenmare is committed to operating in a sustainable and responsible manner.

The corporate head office is located in Dublin, Ireland, and the Company is listed on the Main Board of the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin.

1 December 2022 is World AIDS Day. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (#CDC), #Mozambique is one of the most severely affected countries in the world by the #HIV epidemic, with 1.5 million people living with HIV. In 2021, Kenmare ran focused HIV/AIDS awareness initiatives for our #employees, including providing toolbox talks, publishing newsletter articles and displaying posters on site. According to Lonely Planet, #Mozambique is home to almost 6,000 #plant species. One of these is icuria dunensis, which is listed as Endangered on the International Union for the Conservation of Nature's Red List.
