On Wednesday night we enjoyed a brilliant evening celebrating all things Retrofit & Reuse with Architects’ Journal . We were incredibly honoured to be shortlisted for three of the awards for our work in transforming Citadel, in Birmingham, from a site ready to be demolished into one of the city’s leading workplaces. The take home from the evening was the reinforced belief that retrofitting buildings doesn’t just offer a better solution for the planet, or a better option for preserving heritage and cultural identity in cities, but it offers a truly unique and premium experience for people and companies.
