This nearly 90,000 sf tennis facility involved marrying two pre-engineered indoor tennis buildings with a central conventional structural steel frame flat roofed connection building. Aside from functionality, the Leftwich Tennis Center was designed using a combination of elements to enhance its appearance. R-Panel walls in a special tri-color arrangement match the surrounding landscape and courts to provide a cohesive look. Check out the project profile here: https://lnkd.in/ect_KYut

Two 101’4” x 120’ side-by-side, single slope structures house indoor basketball and volleyball courts for Summerwood Sports in Bryant, AR. Both gyms utilize Kirby’s Standing Seam 360 roof system in galvalume. Kirby designed spandrel beams to support the brick façade and provided soldier columns to help with the boxed-out/wrapped brick condition and the aluminum glass storefront.

This fire and rescue station, built by Authorized Builder D. R. Reynolds , combines a fully lined apparatus bay with six 14’ x14’ framed openings for overhead doors and office space, totaling 7,885 sf. Adding to the aesthetics, the station features a canopy at the main entrance and a cupola. Kirby’s standing seam roof system and the R-Panel wall system were utilized. This three-building 54,828 sf custom metal building features a multi-level office with a double-connected mezzanine. The structure utilizes Kirby’s R-Panel wall system and the Standing Seam and Loc Seam roof systems. A shop area houses a 5-ton and two 10-ton cranes on the same runway and bay. Additionally, 10’ canopies span both sides of the office space and connect to 20’ canopies running the length of both sides of the shop. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/eQKiRzR2

The Sheboygan Christian School addition and remodel project, by Authorized Builder, Jos. Schmitt Construction, encompasses over 40,000 sf of new space for an addition to an existing school. It provides two new educational wings, a gymnasium, another classroom area, and storage space. In addition to the Kirby structural steel, the facility utilized Kirby’s Standing Seam 360 roof system in galvalume. The exterior is clad with a combination of Kirby Rib II wall panels in fox gray, wood horizontal framing, a mini-ribbed horizontal panel, and masonry. The gymnasium features Kirby’s wall and ceiling liner panels in polar white. Kirby also provided support for four 2,000 lb. suspended basketball goals. #metalconstruction #steel #education #metalbuildings
